Joyce Schroeder called the meeting to order. After the pledge the Lenten Reading and Invocation was delivered by A.J. Musser. The reading was the excellent story of Jesus and Lazarus a truly inspired selection.

Joyce then announced that since Frank St. Charles was in an accident ( he is doing well but black and blue ) and that she, not to be outdone, was also in an accident and was scheduled for pre-op that afternoon, she would turn the meeting over to the only officer left.. Tony Proffitt. So she did.

Tony then had. the guests introduced. Carol Sohmer introduced her daughter Keely Hartman, Jane Reuter introduced Tom Riggs (Western Hills Windows), Tim Connelly from the Oak Hills Club, Dave Ruther from Provident Bank and Rich Minella from District 3 Police.

Russ Puckett asks to get your corporate sponsors signed up and in. Very important we need logos by May 1 for the Press ads. Paul Hogue asks if you have items for the silent auction please get them to him.

Officer Rick Minella introduced himself and thanked the Kiwanis for all that they have done for the district and the police. Rick went on to tell about the district and all the new officers on the job. He asks our patience.

Glad hand went to Tom Bruening (Hand Cream) and Joe Schrage (Shampoo) and to Dan Kipp a whole box of Viagra???

Ed Willig announced birthdays of Wally Flender, Tom White, and Scott Harvey. And we all sang HB Day. Then for St. Paddy's Day we sang my Wild Irish Rose and finished with Smile.

Tony then turned the meeting over to Dick Bucher for this weeks program. Dick brought his son Andy with him to discuss some of the new Tax changes. This was a very interesting program, Thanks to Dick and Andy.

Well see you next week the good Lord willing and the creek don't rise.
