PRICE HILL / WESTERN HILLS KIWANIS BULLETIN - March 30, 1999

"... if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him for the dead, you will be saved "Rom. 10:9

Out meeting opened with the invocation and Lenten message by Scott Harvey. Scott left us with the question "What did you give to God?"

Todays guest included Tom Riggs of Western Hill Window, Jack McGwire of Time Warner Cable, and Lois Cockerham from the Community Press. Lois is liiking for anything you think would go nice in the RBB insert. If any of the Committee Chairpersons would like to summit an article, this sounds like a great opportunity to spread the Kiwanis way of life to the community. Lois is looking for pictures of any new members for the Kiwanis rooster.

Sick List: Dick Mather is feeling no pain but is still unable to walk. He does want visitors, so please take some time to visit your fellow kiwanian. Dick is a Christ Hospital on the 2nd floor.

Rob Rinear reported that Jim Cupito has developed another tumor, and will begin radiation treat:ment. Your help may be needed to help with transportation to and from these treatments, more information will fellow.

On a liter note...Just when you thought you have heard it all, something else always comes along. Rumor has it that Dan Kipp bought lunch for some fellow Kiwanians on a recent visit to see Dick. But then a remembered it is the last meeting before April 1 and began to question to authenticity of this report.

In other news, Tom White passed out a "Westminster Community Concert Series" brochure. Tom will be in concert on Friday, April 30,at 8:00pm. Toms' recently released CD's will also be on sale.

We received a letter for Melissa. She says sbe is in training for the Sheriffs Department, but will continue to keep our hall running.
