PRICE HILL / WESTERN HILLS KIWANIS BULLETIN - May 2, 2000

Every Word of God proves true; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him. -  Prov. 30:5

It's been such a lovely week and my palatial estate keeps luring me outdoors to my formal Italian gardens. Speaking of Italian, Dan Kipp has a new variety of Italian tomatoes he is raising in his greenhouse. They are not ready for planting yet but promise to be a particular tasty variety. Dan is now taking orders for tomato plants. So if you are interested, please contact him. His prices are dirt cheap.

Diamond Jim Schwartz, Brian Sweeney and Chuck Kohl were present and still considered guests.

Our thoughts are with Harry Maly and Fr. Jim Willig. Father Willig reminds us that it isn't how long you live, it's what you do in that time frame.

If you missed our election night and the skits the candidates put on, you missed a good time. I'm still trying to figure out the one I was in and how I got to play the lovely Jane Reuter. Almost every year I get the privilege of wearing a blond wig. I guess it's true. Bonds do have more fun.

The winners for the evening were as follows: Carol Sommer-Second VP-Directors-Dan Finke-Jane Reuter-Scott Becker and Ron Forte.
