President Frank St Charles opened the meeting
by introducing the Sixth Division Lt. Governor Vickie Wira. After
the song and pledge President Frank asked Gary Becker to provide
a prayer of thanksgiving.
Gary also thanked God for a "hole-in-one"
he made playing golf. For the non-believers, Gary "Ace"
Becker introduced his guest and WITNESS to the event, Howard
"Butch" Bedinghaus.
Please remember the following in your prayers:
Fr Willig in his fight against cancer, Tina McGary in the lost
of her sister, and Frank St Charles's father, who is doing well,
but can still use the prayers.
Anyone with suggestions regarding the Past
Presidents Luncheon should let their comments be know to Pres.
Frank. One thought is to not have it every year, but make it
a more elaborate affair. Regardless some form of recognition
of the out going president will still take place.
2nd VP Carol Sohmer introduced Lt. Gov.
Vickie Wira to induct the new Officers and Directors. Lt. Gov.
Vickie Wira gave recognition to, Past President Tony Proffitt
and the board members leaving office, for their dedication and
leadership the past year.
The 2000/2001 Board of Directors are: Jane
Reuter, Scott Becker, Ron Forte, John Nordmeyer, Robert Rinear,
Tom Reuter, Walt Luthy and Past President Tony Proffitt.
The 2000/2001 Officers are: President Frank
St Charles. VP Paul Hogue, 2nd VP Carol Sohmer, Treasurer Ed
Flick and Secretary Earl Ostertag.
A Friendly Reminded - Your Dues statements
for 2000/2001 were sent out with the Bulletin in early September.
Some of you may have failed to notice it or did not realize the
dues were to be paid by September 30th, 2000. The dues are $110
made payable to Price Hill Western Hill Kiwanis.
