President St. Charles opened the meeting and Guy Langenbrunner inspired us all with the invocation. If you were looking for your normal spot to sit, you may have had to look around to find it. We are trying to spice things up a little and move around to see the club from a different angle.

Guests Tom Reuter introduced Jack Arkle for the third time, and Scott See from the Salvation Army was in attendance for his third time as well.

Frank thanked everyone for the concern for his father, who is doing well. Also, remember the mother of Jerry Roth, who passed away this week.

Their will be a Committee Chairperson meeting before the November 7th meeting. All Committee chairperson are asked to attend. If you don't know who the Chairperson are or what committees we have here is a list for you:

We are still looking for someone to head the Caring Committee. As you all know, Tina McGary is taking a leave of absence for a year to get herself in good health. Anyone interested in heading this committee, contact Frank.

The Next Board Meeting well be held after the regular Tuesday Meeting, on November 7. Their meeting will take the place of the regular speaker, so the meeting should not run longer then usual. Anyone who has never attend the Board Meeting, this is your opportunity to attend a Board Meeting, and see what and how the club really works.

Other News: Dues are due. Please get your dues in by October 31. Ed reminds us that your cancelled check is the only receipt you will get as proof of payment.

Rose Bloom Boom Chairperson, Rob Rinear is looking for volunteers for help with out clubs only fund-raiser. If you do not ask to get involved, you will be. This is the time to step up and get involved in the functions of the club.

Salvation Army "Rummage Sale" is on November 7th from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Friends of Oyler Raffle tickets are available. Awards of Cash and a lease of a new BMW are being raffled. Please see future bulletins for further details.

Paul Hogue announced the we will be the host club of the November 6th Aktion Club Meeting. Paul is looking for assistance to help with the meeting. Greg Hartlaub is looking for members to bring in a box of cereal for the Holy Family Pantry. Please bring a box to the October 31st meeting.
