O'Conner with him again. Bill Bigner introduced Mike Mills. John
Elias welcomed Nick Nichols and Glen Caib.
Edgar Willig reported the his son Fr. Jim
is feeling better these days, and reminds us all to live like
Jesus showed us, by being kind to others.
There are still openings for The Salvation
Army kettle at WalMart on Saturdays in December. John has already
received a donation as a kick off the to Bell ringing campaign.

help out by ringing the bell for a short time. If anyone is interested
in help out the Salvation Army with any of their ongoing projects,
please call Scott Sees' wife Kathy at 251-1424.
There will be a Young Childrens/Priority
One Committee Meeting after next weeks meeting. All committee
members are asked to attend.
Gary "ACE" Becker had a big day,
claiming both the Gland Hand prize valued at $150.00 and the
Split-the-Pot.
Gary also acted as emcee of our annual
Elder/West Hi Football Luncheon. In attendance form Elder included:
Principal Mr. Tom Otten, Athletic Director Dave Dabbelt, and
Head Coach Douglas Ramsey. Players included: Captains Kyle Koester,
Scott Phirman, P.J. Volker and Paul Rapien. Kyle Koester was
also honored as MVP of the game for Elder.
Representing Western Hills High School
were: Principal Mr. Tom Shaver, Athletic Director Charlie Meier,
Asst. Coach Jimmy Turner, Captains Chris Hamilton and DeAndre
Lewis. Kevin Furlow was honored as team MVP for Western Hills.
Speaker for the meeting was Head Football
Coach for Mt. St. Joseph College Rod Huber. If you missed this
weeks meeting, you missed an excellent presentation. Coach Huber
does more then just coach football; he prepares this player for
life after football. Mr. Huber informed us that he requires this
player to perform two weekends of commute service during the
off season. He volunteered his team for any event the club may
be looking for volunteers to help out with.
See you next Tuesday; please see enclosed
schedule for the Kiwanis Toy Wrap and Food Carton Program.
