President Frank St Charles opened the meeting
with the song, pledge and invocation by Tom White.
The sick list was short, hopefully because
no one is sick, no report on Fr. Jim. Tom Reuter had good news,
his last check-up was A-OK. Keep your prayers flowing there is
still a need.
I know this is like saying, "Raise

Immediate Past President Tony Proffitt
has requested a leave from his Kiwanis duties, primarily the
Kiwanis elections this spring, because of personal business obligations.
Gary "ACE" Becker has volunteered to take over this
responsibility.
Saturday six officers/directors, Frank
St Charles, Paul Hogue, Carol Sohmer, Jane Reuter, Tom Reuter
and Earl Ostertag attended a seminar on "Achieving Club
Excellence". Your Club leaders take their responsibilities
serious. We thank these members for caring about improving our
Club.
Tom White, our resident musician, will
once again participate in the "Sounds of Hope Concert"
7 PM on Sunday March 4, 2001 at Music Hall. Tickets are from
$12 to $24 and the proceeds go to charity. Although Tom is the
top billing, for the benefit of the few persons unaware of maestro
White, the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, 130 voice all-city
choir and many others were invited to perform also. For a sample
of last years concert listen to WTSJ 1050 AM radio at 2 PM Sunday
February 11, 2001.
The International Kiwanis IDD program is
still alive and well. You can help by finding a home for an IDD
collection can, contact L Schroeder.

A meeting of the Rose Bloom Boom Committee
will be held on Tuesday February 6th at 7:30 PM. The meeting
will be at the Rinear home. All Club members are invited. Now
is the time to make comments.
Carol Sohmer introduced Kelly Allen and
Mary Rose Geckle from the Hamilton County Community Health Board.
They explained the Board's mission ... to develop and manage
a system of quality mental health services responsive to individual
and family needs and differences.
