Our meeting was opened by an inspiring
challenge from Guy L. He spoke about God calming the storm. The
challenge of his Lenten message was "Do you know Christ?
Or do you simply know of Him? Hopefully if you only know of him
you will take the opportunity to seek to know Him in a more personal
way this Lenten Season.
Sick List: Frank's eye is doing better,
the doctor's are optimistic. His father is also doing well.

Bob Rinear - 1. Golf Tickets available, please see him to sell
them. So far we are unable to get a condo, if you know anyone
with one please let him know. 2. Gene Simpkins has agreed to
do Ham and Eggs again this year at the Rose Bloom Boom. 3. Question
- Anyone still have insurance with Shubert, if so he suggests
sending his partner a ticket to the RBB (Rose Bloom Boom).
Ed Flick - There are 256 tickets out for
the RBB.
Gary "Gus" Baker - Became a grandfather
this morning. Past Presidents met last Thursday night.
They decided April 17th at 6pm will be the Election Night Party.
It will take place at St. Antonio's it will be Free admission
to Kiwanians and their spouses. They will provide Catering, Beer,
and Soda. At this meeting the 2nd Vice President and Director
will be announced.
Bill Bigner - Wear YOUR BUTTONS! You never
know when you might sell a ticket for the RBB!
Tom White - Our Lenten Breakfast is next
week, April 4th. It will be at 4222 Hamilton Ave, in the North
Presbyterian Church, from 7:30 till 8:45. We need a good turnout.

people you want telephoned to be a sponsor to the RBB please
give him their name and phone number.
Flowers to Dan Kipp for sitting with a
sick friend.
Today's speakers were Emily Osborne and
Kim from the Western Hills Retirement Village. (Actually they
work for another organization but are sent to that specific location).
They spoke on keeping your house safe for older adults. They
used Kevin Kahny as an illustration on how to lift things. He
did fairly well and was commended by them. Remember- keep your
floor clear from magazines, cords, books, and throw rugs.
